The Young Novelists – Johnny & June meets Simon and Garfunkel! Toronto based americana husband and wife duo Graydon James and Laura Spink are known for their beautiful harmonies and songs culled from their small-town roots. After the release of their second full-length album “made us strangers”, they’ve been touring Canada and the US relentlessly, earning accolades wherever they go. They were recognized as Emerging Artist of the Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards, won the Grassy Hill Songwriting Competition at the Connecticut Folk Festival, and were recently named finalists at the NewSong Music Competition. Their third full-length album is set for release in Spring 2018.

From deep within the urban forest of Pittsburgh’s East End, the Squirrel Hillbillies often emerge to share their eclectic mix of folk, country and blues. Rabidly social and clawingly curious, duo partners Jenny Wolsk and Gary Crouth relish opportunities to interact with diverse audiences. They perform regularly, including appearances at the Three Rivers Arts Festival in Pittsburgh and the Leigh Folk Festival in England. Their CDs have gotten radio play on stations across the US and around the world.

“Jenny and Gary paint vivid pictures of life’s characters and circumstances, writing delightful songs that touch your heart and make you smile.”   ~ Jim Rogers, “Modern Troubadours”, WIUP90.1 FM, Indiana, PA
